Westlake High School students paid homage today to their classmate, 18-year-old senior Ben Breedlove, who died Christmas Day after a life spent battling a devastating heart condition.

Ben Breedlove, the 18-year-old Westlake High School student who survived a collapse and three minutes without a heartbeat on Dec. 6 and then posted one of YouTube’s most popular recent videos about his experiences, died on Christmas Day after opening presents with his family.
