Ask A Cop

The Westlake Picayune is seeking questions and comments for an ongoing column called “Ask a Cop.”
Questions from residents of law enforcement officers can range from whether officers can issue traffic citations in shopping center parking lots to issues relating to what constitutes disturbing the peace.
Questions can be directed to our office at news@westlake-picayune.com or 327-2990, and we will get assistance from the appropriate law enforcement agency.
The Picayune will honor requests on being identified or not, but please consider leaving a message or e-mail in the event we need clarification.
