Heavy rainfall resulting from tropical storm Hermine caused emergency response officials to order the closing of Bee Cave Road twice on Sept. 7 between Rollingwood Drive and Edgegrove Drive.
The first closure was from approximately 5:45-8:10 p.m., and the road was closed again from 9 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Sept 8.
Eanes Creek overflowed onto the roadway, making it impassable for motorists.
Several other roadways throughout the Westbank were closed during the same time period. Some areas around Austin reported in excess of 10 inches of rain.

It was closed? My oxen went across just fine.
