The Westlake High School football kickoff and community carnival will be Saturday, August 14th at the Chaparral Stadium and Chap Court.

 The Varsity football team will scrimmage at 2:30 pm.  Freshman and JV scrimmages will be prior to the Varsity scrimmage. The carnival will run from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

Indoor carnival activities will include “Putt The Westbank,” “Pass the Panthers,” “Ultimate Chap,” “Can the Competition,” and many more games with new prizes. Outdoor carnival activities will include “Toss the Competition,” “End Zone” obstacle course, “Games2U” video game truck, “Screamin’ Demon,” “Hairy Fans” color hair spray, “Strong Chap,” and more.

 Entertainment “Under the Big Tent” will start with the Hill Country MS cheerleaders, juggling, WRMS cheerleaders, magician, WHS choir, WHS cheerleaders, Drum Cadence, TexArt FAME, senior football players, hula hoop contest, Feed-a-Football Player, and a pie-eating  and a hot-wing-eating contest.

 Inside Chap Court will offer Chick-Fil-A, Gattis, Thundercloud, Torchy’s Tacos, Maudies queso, Jamba Juice and Blue Bell Frozen Treats. Outside vendors will offer Hatcreek Burgers, The Meat House hot dogs, and snow cones. 

A silent auction will also run the day of the event.
