Incoming Westlake senior Kenzie Hume has committed to play volleyball at Colgate University beginning in 2011.

Hume, a 6-foot middle blocker, earned second-team All-District 25-5A recognition a year ago after playing in a team-high 128 games and tallying 129 kills and a team-best 107 blocks. Hume is one of five starters back for the Chaps, who reached the Class 5A state championship match for the fourth time in five years in 2009.

Colgate is located in Hamilton, N.Y., and competes in the Patriot League.
