Dear Editor:

I want to thank Rollingwood Mayor Bill Hamilton and the Council for appointing me to the vacant alderman position. I am honored to have this opportunity to serve our city.

My message to our citizens remains the same, which is to move forward on necessary water improvements replacing lines that are deteriorating, making sure we have adequate spacing and flow for fire hydrants and that we can deliver good water pressure to our homes.

We should also be maintaining our streets instead of allowing them fall into disrepair. I see smooth streets in our future. I also believe there are ways to get more out of our tax dollars.

I invite you to judge my effectiveness based upon the progress achieved in the repair of our infrastructure and our spending priorities.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve Rollingwood and its citizens.
