Faith in Action Caregivers Southwest Austin will hold a volunteer training on May 26 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Riverbend Church, 4214 N Capital Of Texas Highway. Lunch will be provided.

The nonprofit organization has been providing transportation and social contact services to older adults 60 and older, at no charge since October 2008. Seniors that live within a geographical area with ZIP codes 78746, 78733, 78735 and partial coverage within the 78738 ZIP code can receive services that include transportation (for medical appointments, grocery shopping and personal business), social contact (home visits and caring phone calls), errands, minor home maintenance and referral information about services for older adults.
