Dear Editor:

I want to take this opportunity to tell you a little about Sara Hutson and support her candidacy for Rollingwood City Council. I’ve known Sara since she was an undergraduate engineering student at the University of Texas, where I was one of her professors. She is honest, intelligent, and straightforward. She has previously served as an appointed member of the Council so she already knows the ropes. Most importantly, she is an environmental engineer practicing in Austin who has the managerial, technical and professional skills to assist our city in some of its major problems over the next several years: water, sewer, and streets. These engineering problems are our most pressing concern along with protecting the environment in our beautiful city.

In addition to all of this, Sara is a great mother and has a beautiful family here in Rollingwood where they have been citizens for many years.

I strongly urge you to vote for Sara Hutson for Rollingwood City Council.
