With snow flurries dusting Austin and the threat of more winter weather in the forecast, officials have postponed tonight’s scheduled soccer matches between Westlake and Pflugerville until tomorrow.

Westlake’s boys will travel to Pflugerville tomorrow for a match scheduled for 7:45 p.m., while Westlake’s girls will host the Panthers at 7:45 p.m.

Tonight’s scheduled boys basketball playoff game between Westlake and San Antonio Churchill remains on schedule for 7:30 p.m. at Seguin High School, although officials from both schools will reevaluate the weather forecast at noon, according to Westlake assistant athletic director Al Bennett.

Travis County remains under a winter weather advisory until midnight tonight, with snow forecast this afternoon. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected, and temperatures will fall into the lower 30s this evening, according to the National Weather Service.
