Westlake girls soccer team drops two in Katy
Westlake (2-3-1) continued its grueling nondistrict slate with two losses and a win at the Katy I-10 Shootout last weekend. The Chaps lost to eventual tournament winner Katy Cinco Ranch 3-2 and fell to Cy Creek 2-1. Westlake rebounded with a 2-1 win over Cy Woods in Saturday’s tournament finale.

Chap boys go 0-2-1 in Georgetown soccer tourney
Westlake (1-3-1) left the challenging Governor’s Cup in Georgetown with a draw and two losses. The Chaps evened McNeil 1-1 before falling to Belton 3-2 and Galena Park North Shore 2-1.
