Chap fans will have to make a tough choice Friday evening.

Westlake’s volleyball team will compete in a Class 5A state semifinal against Katy Cinco Ranch in a match scheduled for 7 p.m. at Strahan Coliseum in San Marcos. Thirty minutes later and about 40 miles south, Westlake’s football team faces Converse Judson in a second-round playoff game at Rutledge Stadium in Converse. That game kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

If the Westlake volleyball team beats Cinco Ranch Friday, they will face either Amarillo or Georgetown for the Class 5A championship Saturday at 5 p.m.
