While many of her fellow travelers at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm, Sweden, hustled to catch connecting flights, Westlake senior Samantha Tucker signed her official letter of intent to swim at the University of Texas.

Tucker, an all-state freestyle specialist who owns a multitude of school records, is participating in the World Youth Championship Meets in Stockholm and Berlin this week. She turned down offers from schools such as Arizona, Auburn and Stanford to swim for the Longhorns.
