WHS takes awards, advances in robotics competition

Westlake High School hosted the 2009 Central Texas BEST Robotics Competition Saturday, where 25 Austin-area teams competed for a chance to pit themselves against the winners of other regional competitions at the Texas BEST Championship Dec. 4-5 in Denton, Texas.

William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be performed by Westlake High School students in the school’s Black Box Theatre Nov. 5-7, with the performances beginning at 7:30 p.m.
