Westlake tennis player Alex Durham has committed to the University of Mississippi, according to Chap coach Kim Riley.

Durham, a four-year member of Westlake’s varsity tennis team, helped the Chaps win the 2007 team tennis state championship and reached the doubles finals of the 2008 spring tournament with partner Russell Bader.

Durham is the second member of his family to make a collegiate commitment. His twin brother, David, transferred to Charlotte Christian High School in North Carolina this past summer has committed to play football for Ohio State University.
