Westlake’s girls placed sixth at Saturday’s Georgetown River Run Invitational with 211 points.

Ashley Maton traversed the 2-mile course in San Gabriel Park in 13 minutes, 7.6 seconds to pace the Chaps with a 21st-place finish. Amanda Hillary finished 37th in 13:23.4, and Amy Kasahara placed 40th in 13:30.7. Callyanne McCrea (55th, 13:43.5), and Kate Travis (58th, 13:38.8) completed Westlake’s score.
McNeil won the meet with 53 points.

Boys finish 14th in Georgetown
Andrew Stockton (46th, 17:02.2) and Nick Maass (49th, 17:08.8) led the Westlake boys to 14th place at the River Run Invitational.

The Chaps tallied 315 points. Georgetown won the meet with 79 points.

Nick Domino placed 53rd in 17:16.2, Dan Tisdale finished 83rd in 17:56.4, and Mitch Conrad finished 84th in 17:57.0.
