Westlake’s boys golf team opened its annual Ryder Cup matchup against area rival Lake Travis by winning three of the four matches at Flintrock Falls Golf Course Sept. 15 in Lakeway. The Chaps tied in that fourth match while accumulating 3.5 points to Lake Travis’ .5 points.

 

The squads resume their battle with a second-round matchup Tuesday at Austin Country Club and a third-round meeting Sept. 24 at Jimmy Clay Golf Course.
