Westlake wasted little time in dispatching another District 25-5A volleyball foe with a 25-11, 25-7, 25-16 in Bastrop.

Lauren Mitchell had seven kills, and Erin Bula snuffed three shots as Westlake’s reserves garnered extensive playing time.

With the win, the Chaps (21-6 overall) stayed tied atop the district standings. Connally, Bowie and the Chaps all enter Friday’s matches with a 2-0 mark in 25-5A play.
