Steele gave 2-time state champ Lake Travis its toughest test of the 2008 playoffs, and that was without now-junior RB Malcom Brown, who amassed 1,300 yards and 17 scores in just seven games. With Brown healthy, the Knights have a rematch in mind in the Area playoffs.

Despite the appeals of 12 residents and three city officials, the Rollingwood City Council voted to send their lawyers to those of City Administrator Vicky Rudy in an attempt to negotiate a settlement on her contract.
