ROUND ROCK – A solid showing by Chap hurler Holt McNair helped the South All-Stars win the annual Austin Area Baseball Coaches Association’s All-Star Game Monday at Dell Diamond.

McNair picked up the win for the South, which outslugged the North 14-6. McNair, a recent Westlake graduate, struck out four and allowed two runs in three-plus innings of work.

Five other Chaps were selected to the game, including  infielder Michael Perkins, infielder Stephen Koenig, outfielder Will Harris, utility player Chandler Geller and pitcher James Ferguson.  

Everett Williams of McCallum, a University of Texas commit and a second-round pick of the San Diego Padres, received MVP honors.
