While Westlake dispatched District 25-5A foe Anderson 7-2 at Northwest Field in Austin Tuesday, another area rival helped stretch the Chaps’ string of district titles to four.
Connally’s win over second-place Bowie knocked the Bulldogs three games behind first-place Westlake (17-11 overall, 11-1 in district) as the Chaps clinched the 25-5A championship.
