A benefit to raise funds for Cynthia Gordon – an Austin mother of five who was recently involved in a car accident leaving her with traumatic injuries to her neck and brain – will be held on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at One World Theatre, 7701 Bee Cave Road.
The event will feature musical performances from local Austin bands, including the Will Evans Project and Thanks for the Warning. Family, friends the surrounding community will also host a silent auction, featuring products and services from surrounding businesses.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Gordon’s future rehabilitation efforts, a critical next step to her recovery.

Attendees will enjoy appetizers and drinks donated from local Austin restaurants. And throughout, guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet family and friends of Cynthia Gordon, sponsors and donors involved with this important undertaking.
Tickets for the event will be $30 per person, and both cash and check will be accepted at the door. Donations to Cynthia Gordon are also encouraged and will be accepted at the event.
